Underwater Sports understands the importance of protecting the marine environment and have been helping divers throughout our region for more than 50 years. They have introduced thousands of people to local diving in the Puget Sound and around the world. They’ve supported Bruce Higgins and the team of Edmonds Underwater Park Volunteer Stewards for decades. Underwater Sports also supports our one of a kind dry suit training program for kids/teens in our community. Underwater Sports values the next generation of dive leaders. They have five retail dive centers around the greater Seattle area in Edmonds, Tacoma, Bellevue, Federal Way. The Edmonds Underwater Sports store on Railroad Ave is conveniently located three blocks away from the park. The next time you stop by the park, make sure you head over to see John and thank him for taking care of us divers. Local diving would not be possible without our local retail dive stores. We highly encourage you to visit one of our local stores because we cannot fill our tanks without them!

Light and Motion: Light and Motion revolutionized portable lights for cinema, photography, underwater, drone, bike and adventure. Annie has been using their lights since the company expanded their dive line in 2009. She serves as an ambassador and has tested many light systems for them over the years. Many of the images captured on this site were taken with constant lighting using Sola Dive lights. We use these lights on every dive whether we are shooting photography/video or just diving. In the PNW, we use lights on every dive and our dive team’s light of choice are created by Light and Motion made here in the USA.

DUI-Diving Unlimited International: DUI Diving Unlimited International creates top of the line dry suits, gloves, hoods, undergarments and heated undergarments to keep scuba divers and snorkelers warm in temperate and cold water locations around the world. We value their support of our team. They’ve created a zip seal system that divers can change a wrist or neck seal on the fly and not lose a day of diving. Our 10 year old divers are the youngest and smallest who use their dry suits from when they first begin their journey of discovery at Edmonds Underwater Park.

Zeagle: Zeagle Systems makes durable and trustworthy dive equipment. Their BCDs provide maximum lift for PNW dry suit divers. They are streamlined, fit many body shapes and sizes because of their adjustable grommets, and harness system. They’ve been our partner since we started. We are heading into our 8th season together.

Atomic Aquatics: Our team learns to dive using Atomic Aquatics B2 regulators. Atomic Aquatics designed and engineered their regulators to be the best breathing devices on the planet. These regulators have a unique comfort swivel which allows free movement for maximum comfort no matter what your size. Teaching a variety of ages and sizes, we teach our students on the brands we choose to dive. They also make a full range of amazing products including masks, snorkels, and fins. Annie has been the proud owner of their regulators for more than two decades.

Fourth Element: We love our Fourth Element Arctic underwear we use to keep warm here in the PNW. Many of our divers wear Fourth Element Arctic because it’s warm, low bulk, low buoyancy thermal undergarments because they keep us warm. Available as a full one-piece suit or two-piece, the Arctic is designed to be used as part of a layering system for divers. They have an incredible line of products including bathing suits, wetsuits, undergarments and dry suits that perform in the world’s most extreme environments. They also strive to minimize their impact on our ocean planet. Annie Crawley is one of their ambassadors and supports their ocean positive approach to business and their products. She’s a proud supporter of their company as they work to get ghost nets and derelict fishing gear out of the ocean and have an entire line of OceanPositive gear.

Ernie Brooks: Ernie donated money to Annie for her Dive Team to purchase underwater Olympus Cameras because he believes in the importance of supporting the next generation of underwater photographers and storytellers. Annie first met Ernie nearly two decades ago at Brooks Institute of Underwater Photography when she took her first Underwater Photography course with Ralph Clevenger. He was one of the special guests and they sailed together throughout the California Channel Islands on multi-day trips of the Just Love, the name of Ernie’s boat (and his motto in life). He became a mentor to Annie when he learned of her work with young divers. Ernie challenged everyone he met to do everything possible to care for our planet and spread the love of the ocean and underwater exploration. Annie has always taken his words to heart and cherishes everything he passed on to all of his students. Ernie was not only a master at his craft, but a visionary. He passed away on November 17, 2020 just a few weeks before this site went live. We are dedicating our storytelling program to Ernie Brooks and hope you will join us celebrating his life and legacy. As he flies through the clouds, he’s watching us…spreading his motto to all of our divers of what we learned from him. We must share our best images to help others understand the beauty of our underwater world as well as the impact people are having on our life source.

Backscatter Underwater Video & Photo: Backscatter dives, shoots, services and creates tutorials on all the equipment they create. They’ve become a partner for our Dive Team because they believe in the power of the next generation of underwater storytellers.

Port of Edmonds Our community cares about the health of our ocean. Annie Crawley and her Dive Team works to raise public awareness about ocean pollution together with the Port of Edmonds. The Dive Team runs clean-ups at the port bi-annually to raise awareness about the impacts people have on the Puget Sound.
