Our Dive Team is united by our love for the ocean, commitment to speaking up for the ocean; and initiative to take action to combat climate change, ocean pollution, and overfishing. Recognized as PADI AmbassaDivers for their work as leaders and role models in the diving world in 2020, we created a project to highlight Edmonds Underwater Park, our local marine protected area and open water training site. Our community would not be the same without the dedication of our parents, students, and leader Ocean Annie who has dedicated her life to inspiring all of us while creating how we perceive the ocean.
Below are the kids and teens who worked on the My Underwater Backyard project to share with the world what lies below the surface in our community. We are grateful to all of our divers and families who have joined our team and hope you will too. We expect many more names to be added to the divers below as we want our team to continue inspiring each other and the world.
